Campaigns¶
Campaigns are how you reach out to customers proactively in ChannelX, rather than waiting for them to start a conversation. They are useful when you want to nudge a visitor toward a purchase, announce something new, or follow up with a group of contacts in one go.
ChannelX supports two styles of campaign:
- Live-chat (ongoing) campaigns trigger automated messages inside the website widget. You set conditions — for example, a visitor spending a set amount of time on your pricing page — and the message fires on its own. This keeps the conversation flowing at the moment a prospect is most engaged.
- SMS (one-off) campaigns send a single message to a group of contacts through an SMS inbox. They are well suited to announcements, promotions, and time-sensitive offers that need to reach many people at once.
Live-chat campaigns also understand wildcard URL patterns, so a single campaign can run across subdomains or whole sections of your site instead of one exact page.
